How to plan a PAX wardrobe before ordering custom fronts

Measure the room before choosing frames

PAX frame sizes are fixed, so room measurements decide the viable combination. Record the smallest ceiling height and check walls at more than one point when floors or ceilings are uneven.

IKEA advises allowing extra height for assembly and door hardware. Sliding and hinged doors do not require the same clearance, so the door decision cannot be left until the very end.

• Floor-to-ceiling height at several points
• Wall-to-wall width and usable depth
• Skirting boards, crown moulding, slopes, and beams
• Outlets, switches, vents, windows, and nearby doors
• Space for doors to open and for the frames to be assembled

Plan the interior and exterior together

The interior determines the door rhythm. Long garments, double hanging, drawers, shelves, shoes, and accessories each need different vertical zones.

Once the PAX and KOMPLEMENT plan works, Velora can compose bespoke doors and exposed panels around the frame sequence rather than treating the fronts as decoration added later.

Share a saved plan, not only a room photo

Photos explain the architecture and light, but the saved PAX plan or frame list supplies the module sizes. Velora needs both to review compatibility and create an original design.
